Are you a 4 cylinder FWD racer in north texas? Are you tired of getting the shaft from your local track that doesn’t even pay you to race there? Look no further than Boyd Raceway then!! Boyd raceway started sanctioning the IMCA Sport Compacts this year and we’re working to build the car count during the 2011 season, so far we have only had a couple cars show up, but Davey has done a great job of paying us every week just for showing up!! If you are interested to know what a sport compact car consists of, check IMCA.com for the complete rules.
I have a good contact in the DFW that has a salvage yard and he stated he is willing to provide some cars if there are some people interested in racing out at Boyd this summer. I can put a complete, imca legal cage in a car for as little as $750.00 and have you on the track in just a couple of weeks.
I know Texans are not always big on change, but give these little cars a chance, there are millions of donor cars across DFW and they can be quite fun to drive, if anyone is interested in getting behind the wheel to see how one of these cars works, let me know as I have a car I take to Boyd every other Friday night you can check out.

This class of cars is SURE to grow! With the economic concerns coupled with the availibility of front wheel drive cars, this racing division is a perfect fit for someone who wants to get into the racing world on a low budget or someone who just enjoys the thrill of competition without the concerns of the advanced technological requirements to be competitive in most other divisions!
It takes me back to the 80′s when you could knock the windows out of a car donated by your neighbor, weld in a roll cage and be racing in a very short time! Yall come on! Lets get this party started!
