KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 26) – Feature events are on the program both nights for the four IMCA divisions running at Kennedale Speedway Park’s traditional season-opening Spring Kick-Off special this Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3.
IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $600 to win each night. Top prize for both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod main events is $400 and first in IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock features is good for $250.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded and both nights are Texas Lone Star Series shows for the Modifieds, Stock Cars and SportMods.
An open practice will be held Friday, March 1. Gates open at 3 p.m. and practice starts at 7 p.m. On Saturday, gates open at 3 p.m., and racing starts at 6 p.m. Gates open at noon and racing gets underway at 2 p.m. Sunday.

William Gould, Cory Davis and Chad Hertel each won once during the Lone Star Series opening weekend at Abilene Speedway and bring the Modified, Stock Car and Southern SportMod point leads, respectively, to Kennedale.
